What You Need to Know
I know...it is so typical for people to start blogs. Never did I EVER think that I would be that person, but here I am. This will be a blog about everything and anything that can help us read and escape reality from time to time. I am just here to do what I love to do--write and escape. (I apologize for my bad grammar and writing skills. Nobody is perfect.) Also--follow my food instagram below @dougstummy to see some yummy dishes and creations from home, restaurants, and travel. WHY THE NAME?
"Such is life" or "C'est la vie" as the French would say is a term used most everyday in my household. I first began to understand the meaning after my mother used it all of the time. Basically, it means that life is life, no matter what it throws at you. So at the end of the day, whether the day was bad or good, all you can say is "Such is life."
